judges may enter the competition. Judges may not judge categories in which
they have submitted entries. All entries must have been brewed at home. E

shops\, schools\, etc. are ineligible.

Per Entrant Limits \nNo more than three entries per brewer / brewing team. No more
than two entries per sub-category can be submitted by any brewer / brewin
g team. Total entries for this year’s competition will be capped at 300.

Bottle Requirements

All Beer entries must be in 10-12 oz. brown or green glass. No bottle
s with ink\, name-brand lettering (i.e. Corona)\, or glued or taped on pap
er labels. Raised NO DEPOSIT\, brand names\, or manufacturing codes are ac
ceptable. Beers must be capped with silver or gold crown caps. No ot
her cap colors will be accepted. Meads & Ciders may be entered in
6 to 12 oz bottles. Grolsch-type swing tops are acceptable for meads and c
iders. No 22 ounce bombers\, 750 ml bottles or plastic bottles are permitt
ed. Bottles not meeting these requirements will be disqualified<
/i>.

An entry consists of 4 bottles. If you choose to submit less

The Coco
nut Cup homebrew competition began 24 years ago as a challenge between the M
iami Area Society of Homebrewers (MASH) and the Ft. Lauderdale Area Brewer
s (FLAB) homebrewing clubs. Participation has grown to include other Flori
da homebrewing clubs and we have invited homebrewers from across the South
east to participate in our competition. The 2022 Coconut Cup will be the 2
3rd Coconut Cup sanctioned by the Beer Judge Competition Program / America
n Homebrewers Association.

l 2015 BJCP beer\, (NO MEAD OR CIDER) categories and associated sub-catego
ries will be accepted in this competition. Each entrant is responsible fo
r placing his or her entries in the proper category-we are not mind reader
s (though we wish we were!). Be sure to select the correct category numbe
r and sub-category letter on your entry and bottle ID forms. All entries w
ill be judged according to your information and classifications listed on
your forms and failure to supply a fully completed entry form may result i
n the entry being judged in the wrong category/subcategory. The Palm Beac
h Draughtsmen reserve the right to combine categories depending on number
of entries. Visit the BJCP @ www.bjcp.org\, for a copy of the current Sty
le Guidelines and for additional style information. First\, Second\, and
Third place medals will be awarded for each category.
Judging is online this year\, through
Reggie. More details to come\, but each judge will have to pick up their f

This is our annual special category in the competition. Choose
your favorite BJCP beer style and go crazy with it! The beer style does n
ot need to be one of the styles for this competition. But keep it to beer.
No meads or ciders.

Add some fun adjuncts\, or try a different brewing method. It’s ho
nestly up to you. A “beauty contest” type of judging will determine the wi
nners. A really well executed base style that has a unique twist is what w
e are looking for!

Entrants will be required to enter the base style beer in Reggie bee
r\, and list any modifications that they made so that we know what we are
tasting.

The
winner of this category does not get to compete in Best of Show\, but you
do get a very cool award!

d on paper labels. Raised NO DEPOSIT\, brand names\, or manufacturing code
s are acceptable. Beers must be capped with silver\, gold\, black\, or com
pletely blacked out crown caps. Meads & Ciders may be entered in 6 to 12 o
z bottles. Grolsch-type swing tops are acceptable for meads and ciders. No
22 ounce bombers\, 750 ml bottles or plastic bottles are permitted. Bottles not meeting these requirements may be disqualified.

up allows no more than four entries per brewer / brewing team. No more than two entries per sub-category can be submitted by any br
ewer / brewing team. Total entries for this year’s competition will be capped at 425. If the cap is not reached after the f

Your registration is not committed until pay
ment is received. The competition fee is $10 per entry
strong>. Payment will be accepted exclusively through PayPal via t

e in 10-12 oz. brown or green glass. No bottles with ink\, name-brand lett
ering (i.e. Corona)\, or glued or taped on paper labels. Raised NO DEPOSIT
\, brand names\, or manufacturing codes are acceptable. Beers must be capp
ed with crown caps. Meads & Ciders may be entered in 6 to 12 oz bottles. G
rolsch-type swing tops are acceptable for meads and ciders. No 22 ounce bo
mbers\, 750 ml bottles or plastic bottles are permitted. Bottles not meeti
ng these requirements will be disqualified.

s. As with bottles\, please ensure there are no identifying marks
